Introduction
Six Verbs

Many spiritual and metaphysical systems begin with a similar intuition:
Consciousness is not merely a passive observer of reality.
Where they differ is in what consciousness is believed to do.
Does consciousness create reality? Does it select among possible realities? Does it project patterns into a larger field? Does it align itself with a universal intelligence?
Or is consciousness fundamentally something else: a vessel capable of receiving experience and directing it toward God?
These differences are more important than the shared language of visualization, intention, awareness, energy, and expanded consciousness might initially suggest.
At their deepest level, the systems can be summarized through six verbs:
- New Thought aligns.
- Neville assumes.
- Gateway projects.
- Transurfing selects.
- Quantum manifestation attempts to influence or collapse possibilities.
- The Godward Way offers.
That final distinction produces a fundamentally different relationship between consciousness, desire, reality, and God.
