Who Is Sovereign?

Another major difference concerns sovereignty.
New Thought. The individual mind participates in a larger Divine Mind. The boundary between human and divine consciousness can become relatively fluid.
Neville Goddard. Human imagination is given extraordinary creative authority. The divine creative principle is located within consciousness itself.
Gateway Patterning. Individual consciousness supposedly interacts with and modifies a universal holographic structure. The individual possesses limited reality altering capacity.
Reality Transurfing. The universe contains multiple possibilities. The individual exercises selection rather than absolute creation.
Quantum Manifestation. Consciousness is sometimes imagined as influencing which physical possibility becomes actual.
The Godward Way. God remains sovereign. Human consciousness does not necessarily possess authority over external reality. Its most immediate authority concerns orientation.
I may not be able to determine what happens. I can determine what I do with what happens within me.
This produces perhaps the strongest philosophical distinction between The Godward Way and manifestation systems:
The individual possesses directional agency without necessarily possessing ontological sovereignty.
