The Six Systems
Chapter 6
The Godward Way: Consciousness as an Instrument of Offering
1 min · Adam G.
The Godward Way begins with a different question.
Most manifestation systems ask: How can consciousness influence reality so that reality moves toward what I desire?
The Godward Way asks: What should I do with desire once it has appeared within consciousness?
That difference changes the entire system. The central process is:
something arises
↓
I notice it
↓
I catch it
↓
I contain it
↓
I refuse automatic discharge
↓
I direct it through kavanah
↓
I offer it toward God
The objective is therefore not necessarily emotional transformation.
- Anger does not first need to become calmness.
- Grief does not first need to become happiness.
- Desire does not first need to become fulfillment.
- Fear does not first need to become confidence.
The immediate transformation is one of direction. The emotional energy remains available. But its telos changes.
The movement becomes:
anger → Godward
desire → Godward
grief → Godward
joy → Godward
fear → Godward
ambition → Godward
The Godward Way therefore treats consciousness less as a reality generating machine and more as a container capable of intentional direction.
